- Little Manatee State Recreation Area is just about five miles away from Sereno. The recreation area is a designated parcel of land that totals 1,600 acres. You will find campsites, picnic areas, a canoe launch, fishing, horseback riding and gorgeous beaches. This is the perfect spot to bring the family for a gorgeous Florida fall day!
While you’re a the state park, check out the Little Manatee River Loop, which is great for anyone who enjoys hiking, walking or horseback riding. The 2.8 mile loop is shaded along the Little Manatee River, and a great place to stroll and enjoy nature – turtles, gators, fish and other wildlife.
- Lowry Park Zoo offers families an inexpensive day trip of exploration and learning. - Little Harbor Watersports in Ruskin has watersport rentals that are affordable and give you a chance to explore the Tampa Bay. Enjoy jet-skis, paddle boards, kayaks and pontoon boat adventures along the gorgeous shoreline!
